Real teens. Real stories. Real world. Teenagers have stories inside waiting to get out, just like adults! A teen’s ability to articulate experiences, perspectives, and observations in writing shouldn’t be discounted because of their age or lack of life experience.
Teenagers today are the creative and cultural griots of our time. They need a platform to tell their stories, and interpret teen experiences, in a space that allows them to think on their own and develop their own ideas without judgment. So, we give them space to be creative, imaginative, and free while also combating generational poverty.

It is important for any writer to see the labor of their hard work come to life, but it's even more exciting to witness the spark that ignites when teens see their work acknowledged and, especially, published!
We are turning that spark into a flame by publishing the stories, essays, poetry, and mini-scripts written by teen writers! We want all our works—from adults and the next generation of storytellers—to be meaningful contributions to the literary phenomenology happening now!
